Project Love has been supported by United Way Centraide Northeast to continue offering meals to people in our community most affected by the COVID-19 impacts. In August $12,400 was donated to our work to assist with the cost of groceries and personal protective equipment required to work safely. We are grateful for this tangible assistance. Throughout the summer, United Way provided $4,500 so that Project Love could continue feeding people with Grocery Gift Cards. These were distributed through the local Food Banks and Living Space. From the personal stories coming back to us, we know that these cards were often the difference between eating today and going hungry again. On behalf of everyone at Project Love, “Thank you” to the United Way Donors for your compassion.
